Opening week: welcoming families to our learning centres
Registration, orientation, and activities that help students and parents start the year with confidence across our programmes.
"We must do better for all our children. Every girl and every boy at every age. It's their right and our responsibility.
Our vision is quality education for all, from kindergarten onwards, taught by dynamic and well-trained teachers who excite students and instill in them not only a love of learning today but life-long curiosity."
HRH Princess Sarvath El Hassan
Young Muslim Women's Association
In 1972, HRH Princess Sarvath El Hassan was asked to take over the Young Muslim Women’s Association. At that time, it was located in a small house in the Sports City area of Amman. There were only a few young ladies learning basic typing and sewing skills. In a few short years, HRH Princess Sarvath El Hassan changed it. After seeing the lack of education for children with special needs in Jordan HRH Princess Sarvath El Hassan established the YMWA Centre for Special Education (later known as Bunayat Centre for Special Education) in 1974, and that was followed by the Princess Sarvath Community College in 1980 which served the needs of underprivileged girls wanting to enter the workforce.
