Prof. Basem M. Al-Lozi is a Professor of Economics and Statistics and has been serving as the Dean of Princess Sarvath Community College since 2022. He holds a PhD in Economics and Statistics and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Economics at Atlantic University, USA. He was also awarded Associate Fellow membership in Statistics from OoiCTRLD in Louisiana, USA. Throughout his distinguished academic career, Prof. Al-Lozi has held several prominent leadership positions, including Dean of Princess Alia University College and Dean of Amman University College. He has also served as Head of the Finance Department and Vice Dean of the Business School. Prof. Al-Lozi has taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels at leading institutions, including Al-Balqa Applied University, the New York Institute of Technology, and the University of Jordan. He has supervised numerous master’s theses and contributed extensively to academic research. He has an impressive record of scholarly publications in international journals, with research interests focusing on economic development, banking, finance, and regional economic issues.
